Houses and Vacations Types
These house and
vacation types are provided for search
purposes
only, are chosen by the owner or agency and may not be correct in all
cases. They have to be considered indicative only (Tourists with specific
requirements should clarify in advance with owner or agency).
Houses:
- Villa
A fully detached and independent house. All floors pertain to the house.
It may have one side joining an adjacent
house.
- Semi Detached Villa
A semi detached house
with independent access. All floors pertain to the house. It may have one or
two sides joining adjacent houses.
- Apartment
Any apartment (or flat) that can't be included in the
villa or semi detached villa
definitions. It may have neighbouring apartments in the levels above or
below.
- Rural House
A rural property, usually fully independent and with outdoor
spaces and garden, maintaining its original features but renovated to
a good standard to serve as a vacation house.
- Chalet
A typical mountain house,
for materials used and shape, not necessarily detached.
Vacations:
- Sea Side/Beach
House location
is practical for sea side or beach
vacation. Distance from the sea can range from very near, walking
distance, to far, driving distance only. Considerations over distance
apply to below vacation types as well.
- Mountain
House location is
practical for mountain or skiing
vacation. Typically in the Alps or Appennini mountains area or other
Italian mountain locations.
- City Of Art
A house that for its location could be a base for visiting a city of art.
- Major City
A house that for its location could be a base for visiting a major city.
- National Park
A house that for its location could be a base for visiting a national
park.
- Country Side/Province
A house that for its location could be a base for visiting the country
side or province.
- Lakes
A house that for its location could be a base for visiting the lakes area
in Northern Italy or other lake area.
- Golf
A house that for its location could be a base for a golf vacation.
